Upgrading Fedora 4 to Fedora 5
Langkah ini boleh digunakan untuk mengemaskini versi Fedora Core 4 ke Fedora Core 5 hanya dengan menggunakan YUM.
1. Download and install the Fedora Core 5 version of fedora-release from one of the Fedora Core mirrors.
# rpm -Uvh http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/5/i386/os/Fedora/RPMS/fedora-release-5-5.noarch.rpm
2. Upgrade to Fedora Core 5.
# yum -y upgrade
Kalau langkah ini tidak berjaya, boleh gunakan command line seperti ini:
# yum upgrade 2>&1 | tee /tmp/yum_upgrade
3. Reboot the system to begin using Fedora Core 5.
# reboot
DONE! Selamat menggunakan Fedora Core 5…
# OSS Rules!!!
