Google As A (Free) Proxy
Ada sesetengah organisasi kerajaan atau bukan kerajaan tidak membenarkan beberapa web (spt: friendster.com, blogspot.com, etc) di akses melalui rangkaian organisasi tersebut. Dan bagi sesetengah orang, mungkin ia adalah “disaster” jika tidak dapat akses ke web-web tersebut.
Ada beberapa alternatif:
1. Guna Proxy. Kalau nak tahu lebih lanjut tentang proxy, klik di sini.
2. Google Translator. Ini adalah kemudahan google untuk menterjemah web ke bahasa pilihan.
Contoh: http://www.google.com/translate?langpair=en|en&u=www.sumardi.net
3. Google WAP.
Contoh: http://www.google.com/gwt/n?u=www.sumardi.net
Ada 2 kepentingan entri ini:
1. Kepentingan kepada Pengguna Rangkaian: Jika ada web yang tidak sepatutnya di block tetapi di block juga, boleh guna cara ini untuk akses. 
2. Kepentingan kepada Network Administrator: Pengetahuan baru bagi menghalang pengguna untuk masuk ke web yang tidak sepatutnya. IP Proxy juga patut di block.
