“CHALLENGES IN DIGITAL WARFARE”

Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) will once again host the best-known Capture The Flag (CTF) competition during the International Hacking Competition as known as i-hack2006 to be held from 1 – 3 September 2006.

To make the competition as informative as it can be, i-hack2006 is organizing computer security exhibition and training. As much as i know, the great sn1p3r will be presenting a paper on computer security. For more information about i-hack2006, go to their official website, http://www.tmsk.uitm.edu.my/~i-hack

Don’t miss it!

In computing, a script kiddie (occasionally script bunny, script kitty, script kiddo, skiddie or Victor Skill Deficiency (VSD)) is a derogatory term for inexperienced crackers who use scripts and programs developed by others, without knowing what they are or how they work, for the purpose of compromising computer accounts and files, and for launching attacks on whole computer systems (see DoS). In general, they do not have the ability to write these kinds of programs on their own. Such programs have included WinNuke applications, Back Orifice, NetBus, Sub7, and Metasploit. – Wikipedia
