Arriving

We (pet, julie, nas, afzan, ayeen, rean & me) took the bus to Mersing via Kluang. From Mersing we took a small boat to Tioman Island. We arrived in the Village Air Batang on Tioman at about 7pm. After that, we walked to Johan’s House which would be our home for the next 3 nights. We had booked a 3D/2N full-board package plus 1 additional night free & easy (last minute decision).

First Night

First night at Tioman Island, it was very nice. The air-conditioned rooms were clean - two big beds etc. Our particular chalet was located next to the forest. The food was also great taste! yummy… Meals were served in the common dining area, which also housed the other shared facilities, like TV, newspapers and other reading material.

Spending Time

Apart from sleeping and eating, we spent most of our time on:

Walking - We walked along the beach.

Snorkling - There are lots of colorful fish to watch. It was fascinating to observe the fishes and we also noticed a lot of black sea urchins on the seabed or wedged in rocks and crevices.

Chatting - Making noise… Haha

Watching - Cats, Snake, Fish, Birds, Frogs, German tourists… Hehe…

Playing & Cycling - We rented bikes and went as far as the narrow road took us (not very far).

Leaving

Our vacation had been a lot more enjoyable than expected, and we now looked forward to our next island destination…
