Once again, well-known security conference named Hack In The Box is coming to town. The aim of the HITBSecConf is to allow the dissemination of deep-knowledge network security information and at the same time, give the attendees a change to meet with the worlds leading experts in this field. As you can see through their website, the presentations at the event are delivered by respected members of both the mainstream network security arena as well as the underground or black hat community. Such as, John Viega (Chief Security Architect, McAfee Inc.), Jonathan Limbo (Security Researcher, CISCO Systems Inc.) and many more.
In addition, there will also be a live hacking competition known popularly as Capture The Flag (CTF). This year’s line up includes the winner and the first runner up of UiTM I-Hack2006.
If you have time to go there, I strongly advise you to go. The last conferences must have been very interesting from what I have heard and I expect only the best from this year. For those who want more info regarding this event, you can go to http://conference.hitb.org
