Dojo Offline - Lets Web Works Offline
A team of Ajax experts is working on a new capability to enable web applications to work offline. It includes Brad Neuberg and some developers at SitePen are working on a small, cross platform, Dojo Offline Toolkit which enables web applications to work offline.
With this toolkit the browser will not get to know whether the user is online or offline as the proxy serves up the user interface either way. Imagine you can read your Gmail offline, write a post on your blogger offline or use Google Docs without internet connection. Cool huh?
You can read more about this from SitePen Blog. Example application is here. Milestone is here.
