How to setup Huawei USB E169 Modem On Mac OS X
1. Download Huawei USB Driver.
http://homepage.mac.com/timhaigh/E220_Drivers.zip
2. Make sure your huawei not connected with your machine. Install driver MacDriver(2.7)-intel.pkg
3. Plug-in your huawei USB.
4. Go to “System Preferences / Network / Location / Edit Locations” and add a new location named “HSDPA” for example.
5. Select Huawei Mobile. Add new configuration, example “Celcom”.
Telephone Number : *#99***1#
Username : (Keep it blank)
Password : (Keep it blank)
6. Click “Advanced”. Choose Other, and then Huawei Mobile Connect as a modem. Verify that “Error Correction” is checked, and verify that the dial mode is on “Ignore dial when dialing”. Click on the PPR tab, choose the settings “Config” and make sure that “Send PPP echopackets” is unchecked.
7. And you’re ready to connect to your celcom broadband. Walla!
Note : It also works with Huawei E220.

I get the same message here, as i’ve read in several blogs, a lot of people have this problem. Can anybody help?
