<p>SmartSleep is a preference pane that dynamically sets the sleep state of your macbook (pro). </p>
<p>4 states available for you to choose :</p>
<p>1. <strong>sleep</strong> : machine will go to sleep only (saves state in RAM only, battery keeps RAM contents)<br />
2. <strong>sleep &#038; hibernate</strong> : machine sleeps and hibernates. (default)<br />
3. <strong>hibernate only</strong> : machine will go to hibernate only. (saves state on disk, battery will not be used)<br />
4. <strong>smartsleep</strong> : lets your macbook (pro) just sleep while the battery has a high level. If the battery level drops below a certain point ( default is less then 20% or 20 minutes ) it will switch to sleep and hibernate.</p>

2. Open Directory Utility.<br />
3. Click the lock in the Directory Utility window.<br />
4. Enter an administrator account name and password, then click OK.<br />
5. Choose Enable Root User from the Edit menu.<br />
6. Enter the root password you wish to use in both the Password and Verify fields, then click OK.</p>

<p>And Yes, you also can upgrade your iPod Touch to the 2.0 Firmware. I&#8217;ve successfully upgraded my iPod Touch and all features are working as expected. What i like the most about this new firmware is its ability to install apps just like iPhone. I tried install <a href="http://blog.facebook.com/blog.php?post=22389032130">Facebooks apps</a> and you know what, it&#8217;s cool. It has one important feature, facebook chat which is you can&#8217;t get from <a href="http://iphone.facebook.com">Facebook Website for iPod/iPhone</a>.</p>
